The average height of most Japanese people is in the 160cm to 170cm range, and bicycle retailers and rental shops only carry XS, S, and M sizes.
In our shop, many of our customers come from the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States, Canada, and Australia. Customers from all countries are tall, and it’s not uncommon for some to be over 190cm tall. When we opened in 2024, we didn’t have many bicycles, and we hardly had any large sizes, but we continue to regularly purchase high-end L-size electric bicycles in response to customer requests. One of the joys we have is when tall customers tell us, “I’m so glad I found this shop.”We have both E-touring and E-mountain bikes in L sizes.
